☞ MY LONDON EXHIBITION: What I love most and recommend is Self-Promotion!!! Before it closes on April 9, come to the art exhibition I am in (my first outside of the United States!) with Seren Metcalfe, Jesse Pollock, and Amba Sayal-Bennett at Grove Collective, 9B Battersea Sq., London SW11 3RA. If you can't make it to the show, go check out their future programming! grovecollective.co
☞ WAKING UP REALLY MANICALLY EARLY: In college (...uni?) I was depressed until I realised I could satisfy my need for perversion by waking up at 5:00 AM, chugging a heavily caffeinated pre-workout and going to the gym many hours before the thought of waking up had even crossed my friends' restful subconscious minds. It's also great if you have attention issues at the gym, because emails and texts aren't rolling in yet.
☞ SEXY UNIQUE PODCAST: with hosts Lara Marie Schoenhals and Carey O'Donnell. The main thrust of this pod is recaps of iconic reality tv shows from the late 2000s, early 2010s, with an emphasis on things in the Housewives universe. To me, listening to them tell these stories on the pod is better than watching the shows, and tbh sometimes I don't even watch the shows.
☞ UPDATE YOUR NUDES: If you're someone who takes nude selfies, try to update them at LEAST 3 times a year. I think sending nudes from 2 years ago is catfishing, no matter how good the photos are.
☞ HOW IT’S MADE: For hypnotic/visually satisfying types of videos, I recommend "How It's Made" videos with the sound off and your favourite music on. Especially any bread or plastic product. Start with the car tire video ^
☞ VCRS: I recently learned they don't manufacture VCRs anymore. If you have one, I would keep it.
☞ ENDEL APP: When I heard that Grimes was tapped to design a relaxation/meditation/soundscape app called Endel, I thought it must be corny. Now I listen to it regularly, because it lets you set an amount of time and an activity and then the AI composes "music" for you on the spot. If you can't afford to have one of those harp players who lives in your house and plays on command, this is a great alternative. endel.io
☞ GINNY ON FREDRICK: My sweet friend Freddie has an art gallery called Ginny on Frederick in London, go check it out! ginnyonfrederick.com
☞ BEST BURRITO IN BUSHWICK: (Brooklyn) is from Taqueria Al Pastor at the corner of Wyckoff and Stanhope. goo.gl/maps
