☞ I have two bottles of Curators Piss 2025 in a group show MINIOTICS, an off-site project by POP GUN in New York at Weatherproof Gallery in Chicago. Many thanks to the curators Gunner & Trinity for contributing.
☞ WATCHING: Val Kilmer. The Idiots Lars Von Trier. Ulrich Seidel. Anything from 60’s Ken Russell. Women in Love, The Devils.
☞ FAVOURITE PHRASE: ‘Orange Sherbert’.
☞ FAVOURITE GALLERY: Danny Profit. La grotte de l'homme. Old smoking room of Honor Oak pub remade as STUNNING new GALLERY. Peroni’s but YOU BUY. Dart Board & Goa renowned DJ. Run by Obi & Amilia w/ adjacent reading series by TC HELL entitled LEAVING POLAND.
No 56-year old art slackers in Celine jackets floating like Nosferatu in the mid-distance.
☞ PUB: Lucky 7 Irish BAR Cricklewood (check the reviews)
☞ SHOUT OUT: Next show at Scat will be Hannah Sawtell in late April, Alex Heard will show in May/early June. Kelly Ballett’s show The Corpomastix opens at Piccalilli in early April for 5 weeks. Pleasure yourself!
☞ FOOD: Hassan Morocco Fish, Golborne Rd. I live very close to Algerian bakery El Marsem run by Farouk so I end up going daily & would recommend Chorba frik, Chtitha & the Merguez pizza.
☞ SPECIAL LOCATION: Stanley Spencer Museum (& Sandham Memorial Chapel). Classic boater hat & float in the tributary. Torture museum in Bruges. Pleasure yourself?
☞ ADVICE:
Drink the canned Lucozade. Has to be Original. 330ml.
Don’t listen to anyone with gallery representation or anyone who owns a narrow boat.
☞ DESTINATION: For want of being able to exit my job occasionally for a solo matinee I saunter to the PCC (sometimes with Chinese Crepe), which is under the unfortunate blade of Zedwell LSQ Ltd & their crumb parent company Criterion Capital. Demanding the inclusion of a break clause that would require Prince Charles to vacate the premises at 6 months’ notice. Please sign and share the petition as they’ve already killed the TCR YMCA.
